This Privacy Policy explains how Kaeya ("the bot") collects, stores, and handles data when used in Discord servers. Kaeya is designed to operate with minimal data collection required to run character guessing games.

2. Data We Collect

Kaeya only collects information necessary for game functionality:

• Channel IDs: Recorded when an administrator runs /add-channel to identify where games are allowed to run.
• Server Character Appearance Counts: Anonymized counts of which Genshin characters have appeared in a server to provide the /stats command.
• Discord User IDs: Processed temporarily during an active game session to credit the player who submits the winning guess.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not log, read, or store personal chat messages, private direct messages, voice data, or personal identifying information. Messages in allowed channels are only parsed in memory to match game guesses (e.g. guess element or character names).

4. Third-Party Services

Kaeya operates through the Discord API. Your use of Discord is subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention and Removal

Channel IDs and server appearance statistics are retained as long as the bot remains in your server. If you wish to delete your server data, run /remove-channel or contact us directly.
